Riparian Restoration/Bioengineering project in critical areas of the Elbow headwaters funded

The Elbow River Watershed Partnership is pleased to announce we have received a grant from the Government of Alberta via the Watershed Restoration and Resiliency Program.

Minister Phillips announces 2016 WRRP funding

Diane Coleman, ERWP Chair (6th from the right, front row) attended the announcement made by Minister Phillips on July 21st in Calgary.

As part of this project, we will be hosting a workshop for approximately 40 lucky people with Soil Bioengineering specialist Dave Polster of Polster Environmental Services Ltd this October. Tentative dates are October 14th+15th. Watch our online newsletter later this summer for further details on this opportunity to learn from experts. Your work will benefit the watershed that serves up to half of Calgary's drinking water.
